Environmental issues have gained increasing significance in international politics in recent years, and much effort has been invested in formulating international environmental law and policies. This course will examine the core principles and rules of international environmental law and policies.  This course will provide students with knowledge on the formation, operation and effectiveness of international legal regimes designed to address global, regional and trans-boundary enviromental problems and resoure management issues
